Still  thinking about  those  string  quilts....I  made about seven  blocks  but won't  use them  as  a  "quilt" ...my backing  wasn't so good and  so I sent  for  some of the  paper "backs" and  will start  fresh as  soon as  I can...using  white  as  your first strip looks  good I am  told..and  then all the  center  ones are  white and  they all line  up ...Nice !!

Patchwork Bags & Fabric Strips

 

Made  these  bags  some  time  ago - I never  used  to like  patchwork  anything ,but all of a  sudden I  do - I  put away  all  the other  projects and kept the  5" ,10 " and  all  other  squares  out to play and  work on - plus the  strips  for the string blocks that  I have  been making...I now  like  patchwork !! String Quilts

Have  you made a  string  quilt?  Me  either  but I  am looking  at  some  of the  sites  and  I made a  few  squares and  it is so relaxing and  I love the  look...this  photo  I  borrowed  from String Thing Along...I want  to join  this  group - I have  loved  looking at all the  creations  made  from scrappie  strips  of fabric...love the  look!!
